Position Description

The VP of Member Experience is a key role focused on attracting, engaging, and retaining creators at Statusphere. This will be achieved through development and execution of a community based strategy to engage our robust & diverse creator base. Key measures of success will be creator satisfaction, active creator engagement, creator content quality, and retention of creators on the Statusphere platform. Being a compassionate leader and acting like an owner is a must in this role. Statusphere is seeking a top-tier leader with experience in the influencer marketing industry. Your mission is to deeply understand the creator’s experience and needs to identify and evangelize practices for best-in-class creator experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Member Growth, Engagement & Retention:

  • Drive best-in-class Statusphere member experience.
  • Understand Statusphere’s creator needs, goals, and challenges and develop segmentation journeys to provide personalized support and guidance based on each creator group’s needs.
  • Develop retention strategies and initiatives to reduce churn and ensure long-term partnerships with creators.
  • Foster, identify and manage opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with creators.
  • To build creator satisfaction, oversee the synthesis and actioning of creator feedback regarding experiences, pain points, and suggestions for improvement.
  • Advocate for creator needs and requirements within the organization, working closely with product and development teams to drive enhancements and platform updates.
  • Develop strategy and workflow to create a best-in-class member experience once creators are onboarded to Statusphere.
  • Provide training and guidance to creators on using Statusphere’s features effectively, optimizing their experience, and maximizing their desired outcomes.

Member Marketing & Awareness:

  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop innovative strategies and campaigns that increase creator applications, adoption and engagement at Statusphere.
  • Collaborate with the VP / Head of Marketing and Product Marketing to develop compelling messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies to further attract creators.
  • Track and analyze marketing metrics, campaign performance, and creator acquisition costs to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Educate creators on the current state of creator marketing.
  • Build, produce and host educational/community/online events, driving awareness and adoption of Statusphere by creators


Leadership & Strategy:

  • Attract, hire, onboard, develop, and retain world-class Creator Experience talent and create a high-performance culture of excellence.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including VP of Customer Success to deliver brand satisfaction and appropriate support to our creators and to aid overall business goals and targets.
  • Identify trends through data & analytics and make changes to creator strategy.
  • Foster, identify and manage opportunities for collaboration and partnerships with creators.
  • Establish, monitor, and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) of creator accounts, such as adoption rates, active engagement metrics, creator satisfaction scores, and brand satisfaction score of creator content
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and develop action plans to optimize overall creator success and retention.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated achievement in developing talent, managing and growing a Influencer Marketing/Creator team (5+ years of management experience)
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Influencer Marketing industry or demonstrated history of working with creators or building community (10+ years of experience)
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed user growth and retention goals
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills; ability to build trust with employees and Creators at all levels
  • Proven track record of building, producing and hosting educational/community events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs
  • Knowledge of and experience with HubSpot and other creator enablement tools and platforms
  • Comfortable presenting to and engaging large groups, both virtual and in-person; advanced in storytelling as a skill
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to quickly synthesize, interpret and communicate complex information to various audiences clearly and succinctly
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands
  • Courageous leader who challenges perspectives and gives/receives honest feedback
