Digital Marketing Director, Statusphere

Full Time | Remote

Statusphere is a woman-led product recommendation network that helps people discover products they love from people they trust. We are in search of a Digital Marketing Director to deliver marketing strategies that strengthen the Statusphere brand. With a strong mix of creativity and analytics, this position will utilize modern digital marketing best practices to help Statusphere scale.

What you will do

Own Content Marketing Strategy

  • Develop and implement marketing plans for Statusphere, including promotional calendars and programs.
  • Design a content marketing strategy around Statusphere’s customer needs.
  • Create and implement a marketing plan to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Put a roadmap in place and directly manage the ongoing optimization of the website.
  • Seek to understand data and insights to drive action and support strategy with data-driven insights.
  • Build measurable and trackable action plans with key Digital Marketing Indicators.
  • Evaluate, engage, and manage outside agencies/consultants as needed to drive best in class digital execution.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Statusphere ideal client archetypes, internal case studies, campaigns/service offerings, pricing plans, promotions, and service features.
  • Develop knowledge of overall influencer/ word-of-mouth marketing trends and competitive landscape.

Create Marketing Materials for Current Customer Education

  • Improve & own case study creation.
  • Create educational and marketing materials for new product feature launches for members and clients.
  • Work with the accounts team to build content to support current clients.
  • Improve knowledge base for marketing trends and initiatives that can benefit Statusphere.

Marketing Funnel Optimization

  • Work with sales teams to create marketing strategies that increase lead flow and conversion rates.
  • Be nimble and flexible; adapt quickly to changing circumstances or new insights.
  • Provide creative ideas for garnering more traffic and leads through the website.
  • Responsible for marketing pipeline development and initiatives to increase lead acquisition and conversion rates.

Leadership and Teamwork

  • Define, create, and deliver the vision, business plan, roadmap, and key metric objectives for the expansion of Statusphere.
  • Be an internal expert on our marketing tech stack and how all of our tools integrate with each other and other parts of our organization in order to help us make informed decisions for long term success.
  • The Marketing Director will report to the CEO.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing management and/or content marketing management
  • Must have strong Hubspot experience
  • Experience with A/B testing emails and ad campaigns
  • Experience running email campaigns and workflows on Hubspot
  • Ability to think analytically and own marketing budgets and KPIs
  • Ability to create & send emails to leads that are error-free from any spelling or grammatical mistakes
  • Ability to drive impact through inquiry; ask probing questions and inspire others to be their best selves
  • Exceptional level of attention to detail coupled with strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated & possess strong time management skills, personal organization & interpersonal skills
  • High-performer with an ambition to learn the business and how it relates to client goals and overall sales efforts at Statusphere
  • Positive team player & problem solver with the ability to act and react in a professional manner
  • Excited about the ability to change the way people shop online for the better.
